Florida Sends Illegal Immigrants To Martha's Vineyard

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard.

A spokesperson for DeSantis said the planes that arrived Wednesday in Massachusetts were part of the state's relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.

State lawmaker Julian Cyr said local officials received no advance notice that the migrants were arriving.

Meantime, State Representative Dylan Fernandes, on his Facebook Page said, "We will welcome every person sent here and make sure they are treated with the dignity and respect all people deserve. I cannot properly express how disgusted I am with the people who plotted this. It is beyond inhumane to secretly ship people across the country on a lie to try to create chaos to gain political points. It is evil.

Meantime, the 50, mostly non-English speaking immigrants received covid tests and are being housed at a local church.
