The Big E is starting off the 2022 fair with an attendance record.
There were 87-thousand-604 people at the West Springfield fairgrounds on Friday.
That shatters the previous mark which was set last year.
The first weekend was a big one as well with nearly 287 thousand people through the gates.
Today is West Springfield Day.
The Big E will continue until October 2nd.
