A woman from Western Massachusetts accused of making a hoax bomb threat against Boston Children's Hospital has been formally indicted by a federal grand jury.
The indictment was handed down against 37-year-old Catherine Leavy of Westfield who is expected to be arraigned at a later date.
Leavy allegedly made the threat against the hospital by phone on August 30th, causing a lock down.
She faces up to 15 years in federal prison if convicted of making a false bomb threat and intentionally conveying false information.
