Two police officers are dead and one is seriously injured after a shooting in Connecticut.
Connecticut State Police say the officer-involved shooting happened last night in a residential area in the town of Bristol.
No details have been released about who fired the shots or what led up to the deadly incident.
A nearby resident said he heard at least a dozen gunshots. State Police are expected to hold a press conference later this morning.
