There was a significant police investigation in Palmer on Tuesday.
The Massachusetts State Police says a pickup truck stolen overnight from Whitingham, Vermont, which had contained firearms, was found outside an apartment on Gay Street at around 9:30 a.m.
The suspect was not located after authorities searched several residences.
The firearms were apparently stolen from the truck.
Anyone with any information about the case is asked to call Palmer Police or Massachusetts State Police.
