Split Weekend- Now Thunderbirds Hit Road For Three This Week

It was an o-k weekend for the Springfield Thunderbirds this weekend. The Tbirds beat the Hartford Wolfpack Friday night by the score of 5-1. Saturday night, the always tough Providence Bruins came to town again and beat the Thunderbirds 3-2. Springfield and Providence have met four times this season so far. Providence has won them all. All were one goal games.

Springfield is currently in fifth place in the American Hockey League’s Atlantic Division. They are five points behind Providence, which leads the conference.

Springfield will hit the road for three games beginning in Hartford at 7pm. On Friday night they will take on Lehigh Valley.

On Saturday they will play Wilkes-Barre Scranton.

Springfield won’t be home until November 16th when they take on Syracuse.
