The Springfield Thunderbirds lost to the Syracuse Crunch in a morning-time match at the MassMutual Center on Wednesday.
The final score was 5-to-4 in a shootout.
The arena was filled with students for the team's School Day Game.
The T-Birds host the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday night at 7:05 and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Sunday with a 3:05 p.m. puck drop.
