Bills Eliminate Pats On Emotional Sunday Return To Field

The Buffalo Bills officially eliminated the New England Patriots from playoff contention after rolling to a 35-23 victory in Orchard Park.

Nyheim Hines led off the game with a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Hines returned another kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. Josh Allen finished the day with 254 yards through the air, three touchdowns and one interception.

Stefon Diggs caught seven passes for 104 yards and a score.

Mac Jones threw for 243 yards, three touchdowns and three picks. DeVante Parker caught six passes for 79 yards and a pair of scores.

New England's season ends with the Pats falling just short of the postseason at 8-and-9.

Buffalo won the AFC East with a record of 13-and-3 and will host the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round.

Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick said simply after the game that they lost to a better team.
