Boston Red Sox owner Tom Werner says the team is not being sold.
Werner appeared at a press conference yesterday to officially announce the contract extension for Rafael Devers and addressed rumors of a possible sale.
Werner insists that he and co-owner John Henry have a desire to win more World Series championships in Boston.
Fenway Sports Group owns the Liverpool FC soccer team, the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and other entities, but Werner says their heart and soul is with the Red Sox.
