Lego Leaves Enfield Bound For Boston

Not an absolute surprise but Lego is packing up and leaving Enfield bound for the city of Boston.

Company officials say that Boston is one of the bes cities in the nation--with a workforce that can be developed and retained.

And officials say that the move will allow more kids to be exposed to the Lego brand.

The company says that all employees will be offered jobs in Boston and those that don't make the move will be eligible for job transition training.

The Enfield Mayor says he is sorry to see Lego go after more than 50 years in the community.

The move is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
