The Enfield Town Council is expected to conduct a public hearing tonight on a proposed sports complex.Ā
But the proposal calls for not only taking over the old Mass Mutual property on Bainard Road and converting it into a series of sports fields and complexes.Ā
Part of the proposal calls for the taking of land for some of the sports fields. And that has drawn the ire of some residents around the park.Ā
They say that the complex goes too far with interfering with the current make-up of the neighborhood.Ā
The Public Hearing is set for tonight at 7pm at Enfield Town Hall.Ā
