The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has reinstated criminal charges against the former superintendent and former medical director at the Holyoke Soldiers Home.
Seventy-six residents died there from COVID in 2020. Bennett Walsh and Doctor David Clinton were indicted for elder death and other charges for their handling of the outbreak, but a lower court dismissed the case for lack of reasonably trustworthy evidence.
The high court ruled today the attorney general's office should be allowed to proceed with its case.
