Springfield has recorded its 8th murder of the year.
A shooting victim from a Union Street Springfield incident has died.
Police say that they were called to an apartment in the 200 block of Union Sunday morning where they found a man who was suffering from gun shot wounds.
Police have not provided a motive and there have been no arrests.
