CVS, Massachusetts Settle Charges Of Overpricing At Pharmacy

The state Attorney General's office is investigating the Boston Police gang unit over allegations of racially biased policing.

The office of Attorney General Andrea Campbell has confirmed that the investigation covers activities of the gang unit over the last five years.

The legislature gave the attorney general's office the power to investigate patterns of racially biased policing.

“The state’s workers’ compensation system operates at its best when it is functional, transparent and affordable,” said AG Campbell. “Ensuring that pharmacies follow procedures and do not drive-up costs in our workers’ compensation system is an important priority for my office, and we will continue to advocate to keep this critical system available and accessible on behalf of workers and employers.”

The investigation will also focus on the police department criminal database.
