Poll: Voters Support State Takeover Of Schools In Some Cases

According to a new poll, there is support in Massachusetts for the state take over of under performing schools and school districts.

The group Democrats for Education Reform commissioned the survey which found nearly two-thirds of 600 registered voters believe receivership should be an option.

The poll's margin of error is four-point-eight percent.

There's currently a bill in the Legislature that would strip the state of authority to assume control of under-performing schools or districts.
