The ValleyBike Share program is on pause.
The supplier is planning to file for bankruptcy, according to Northampton Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra, whose city leads the eight-community program.
Sciarra says they will need to find a partner that can reliably provide the important transportation service.
ValleyBike started in 2018.
It also has stations in Springfield, West Springfield, Amherst, Chicopee, Easthampton, Holyoke, and South Hadley.
