Another hat in the ring for Springfield City Council.
Jose Delgado says he is running because the city deserves an effective leader.
Delgado was an aide to Springfield Mayor Dom Sarno and worked for then Governor Charlie Baker and the current Governor Maura Healey.
He says his campaign will center on affordable housing, small business and good schools.
