Gridlock is expected this weekend in downtown Springfield. Bruno Mars will perform at the Mass Mutual Center tomorrow night.
Police are suggesting a variety of parking options.
They include The MGM Springfield Parking Garage;
The I-91 South Parking Garage on East Columbus Avenue;
The I-91 North Garage;
The Monarch Place Garage;
Tower Square Garage and the Hampden Street Parking lot as well, among others.
In addition, the Iron Man competition will step off at 6AM Sunday morning. There will be a variety of street closures and detours.
The weekend in the area got off to a roaring start at the Mass Mutual Center when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler performed.
