Springfield is getting 106 million dollars initially for the construction of a new Hampden County Courthouse.
But while the Governor is writing the initial check, she doesn't say whether the building should be built at its current location, the Riverfront or somewhere else.
The project is estimated to come in at somewhere in the 500 million dollar range.
Springfield Mayor Dom Sarno has been on record as supporting a new courthouse on the Riverfront.
