Red Sox Drop 4-1 Game To White Sox

The White Sox topped the Red Sox in the rubber match of their three-game series.

Chicago beat Boston 4-1 at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Jesse Scholtens was credited with the win after pitching four scoreless innings of relief.

Kenyan Middleton secured his second save of the season after striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning.

Luis Robert Jr. went three for four at the plate with a pair of homers for the White Sox, who are now fourth in the AL Central at 34-and-45.

Kutter Crawford was tagged with the loss after allowing four runs over six innings of work.

Adam Duvall drove in the only run of the game for the Red Sox, who are last in the AL East at 40-and-39.
