US Attorney Seeks Calmer, Safer Summer

The Massachusetts U.S. Attorney's office has launched a summer violence reduction initiative.

Acting state U.S. Attorney Joshua Levy says the goal is to help and support local communities in reducing gun violence that often accompanies the arrival of summer.

Levy says his office will be convening a series of regional round table discussions seeking to foster cooperation, transparency and data driven solutions.

Levy says he's also launching a ghost gun task force seeking to address the emerging threat of privately made firearms.
