An arrest has been made in connection to a Springfield murder.
A police spokesman says 21 year old Tyre Shakespeare was arrested on charges in connection with a June 28 murder of Adams Street.
He was arrested without incident.
Police are not saying what led them to Shakespeare as a suspect. No are they saying what the motive is.
Police say Shakespeare was out on bail in connection with an Armed Home Invasion on Olney Avenue. He is awaiting trial in connection with that case.
Shakespeare is being held without the right to bail.
