A former employee of the VA Medical Center in Northampton is sentenced to spend eight years in federal prison for possession and distribution of child pornography.
Prosecutors say Kevin Divoll of Royalston was arrested after he was found to be using the VA facility's public WiFi connection to distribute child porn.
Investigators identified Divoll as a suspect in the case, and prosecutors say a search of his laptop revealed child porn that included the depiction of the abuse of infants.
As part of his sentence Judge Mark Mastroiani ordered 5 thousand dollars in restitution to the two victims that came forward.
