Amherst-Pelham Regional Schools Superintendent Michael Morris is addressing the community.
Earlier this year, a student newspaper article alleged that transgender middle school students were being bullied, and the article also claimed that school counselors failed to support those students.
While he cannot comment on the specific allegations related to an ongoing federal Title 9 investigation, Morris said it is clear that the district must expand its training for faculty and staff regarding gender identity.
