A reminder from State Police—you can’t use the HOV lane anywhere in the state – or the region, just because you have a mannequin taking up the passenger seat.
Officials say a state trooper working in South Boston pulled over a Mercedes and made the discovery.
And, in case you are wondering- dogs and imaginary friends don't count either.
Fortunately, the mannequin was wearing a seat belt.
Seriously, though, the HOV lanes are reserved for two or more humans in the car.
