A 38-year-old RIverside Rhode Island man is facing charges that he stole 100 thousand dollars' worth of computers from the Mass Challenge - a group that he worked for.
Jonathan Matteo is accused of buying 142 Apple Computers over a two-year period, and then stealing most of them.
The Suffulk County DA says that Mateo also used the proceeds from the Mass Challenge to pay restitution from a similar scheme in 2019.
A spokesman for the DA says that Mateo may have been the only person to think no one would notice more than 100 computers.
He will be back in court in September.
