Two candidates for mayor remain in Springfield.
A preliminary election held on Tuesday was won by incumbent Domenic Sarno and Justin Hurst, an at-large member of the City Council.
Both candidates will advance to the November 7th general election.
Sarno has been the mayor of Springfield since 2008.
Sarno says he and his administration are battle tested.
Hurst says he has a better plan for both education and public safety.
