The Big E is looking forward to some dry weather.
A daily attendance record was broken last Friday, but since then, rain from Tropical Storm Ophelia has put a damper on the fair's foot traffic.
So far this year 765 thousand people have gone through the gates of the fair.
The National Weather Service forecast for the Springfield area is currently calling for a mixture of sun and clouds until the Big E wraps up on October 1st.
