Iowa is one of 13-states opposing a new Massachusetts law that applies to pork production.
The law bans states from selling or shipping pork thru Massachusetts unless the states meet strict hog-housing requirements.
Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird says the law will drive many pork producers out of business and will dramatically raise pork prices.
The states maintain the law also violates the Commerce Clause of the U-S Constitution.
