MA Police Offer Assistance In Hunt For A Killer

Massachusetts State Police are working with their colleagues in Maine as the search for a suspect in Wednesday's mass shooting continues.

The Commonwealth Fusion Center in Maynard remains in regular contact with Maine State Police, and a state trooper and K-9 partner attached to the Bomb Squad is in the Lewiston area to assist. That K-9 unit is based out of Easthampton.

A spokesperson says there has been no confirmed contact with the suspect, 40-year-old Robert Card.

State police agencies regularly provide mutual aid upon request.
