The Diocese of Springfield has issued an update to its list of clergy members who are credibly accused of child sexual abuse.
The "credible allegation" has been recorded against Rev. J. Victor Carrier. He served the diocese from 1969 to 2009 and died in 2011.
The new allegation is said to have occurred during Carrier's time with Saint Rose de Lima in Chicopee in the early 80s.
New credible findings were also acknowledged against Richard Lavigne and Stigmatine priest Joseph Flood, both of whom are deceased.
Diocesan officials encourage anyone with information on misconduct to report it to law enforcement and the Office of Safe Environment and Victim Assistance.
