Four people have been arrested in connection with a series of package thefts in the Ludlow area.
Police say the first theft occurred at a home on Monday, and the property owner was able to provide them with a photo of the suspected vehicle, which was found to be stolen. On Tuesday, two more incidents were reported, and police soon caught up to the would-be thieves.
A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up more than 20 purloined items.
Arrested were 18-year-old J'Annie Carrucini of Springfield, 19-year-old Emmanuel Diaz of Three Rivers, along with two teenage males from the latter town, aged 16 and 13.
Carrucini and Diaz are both held for lack of 10 thousand dollars bail; the juveniles are set to appear in Palmer District Court in January.
