McGovern Leads Call To Remove Cuba From "Terror Watch"

Congresman Jim McGovern is leading a group of lawmakers - writing to the president to ask him to remove Cuba froma Terror Watch List.

It was back in 2015 that then President Barrack Obama took Cuba off the Terror List.

But during then President Donald Trump's term- before leaving office placed Cuba back on the list.

The Congressman called that vindicative on the part of the Republican President.

The delegation says that part of the instability of Cuba can be attributed to the financial pain created by that country and the US not being able to participate in trade.

And in a letter to the president McGovern reminds Biden that as a candidate he vowed to reconsider that designation.

So far there has been no response from the white house.
