The arraignment for a man accused of slashing the tires of a car belonging to Mayor Domenic Sarno has been postponed.
Hampden County Sheriff's Department officials say Steven Kostorizos was unable to appear for Monday's hearing, due to his hospitalization.
The 55-year-old Kostorizos was arrested on Friday, two days after he was allegedly caught on security cameras vandalizing the mayor's car in front of City Hall.
Kostorizos is expected to be arraigned today, on this and other unrelated charges.
