Super Tuesday In MA But Connecticut Will Wait

With the Michigan primaries in the rearview mirror, Super Tuesday is the next date circled in the race for the White House.

There are sixteen races where delegates are up for grabs. Massachusetts is one of them. But Connecticut is not. It's Primary is set for April 2.

President Biden and former President Trump both won their parties' primaries in Michigan easily on Tuesday.

While Trump has essentially secured the GOP nomination, Haley has vowed to stay in the race, arguing both Trump and President Biden are unpopular among most Americans.

Voters in 15 states and one U.S. territory will head to the polls on March 5th to cast their ballots for who they want to be the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees.

About 36-percent of Republican delegates will be up for grabs.

Early in-person voting is slow in the western part of Massachusetts, according to locals.

Pittsfield, Ludlow, and Palmer officials reported only a few dozen voters have come in to cast their ballots.

Mail-in voting has become popular, however.

Pittsfield answered nearly five thousand requests and about half of these have since been returned.
