Massachusetts and more than a dozen other states cast primary ballots today, part of "Super Tuesday."
Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin says he expects a strong turnout. Along with presidential candidates, voters will cast ballots for state party committee members.
Voters in South Hadley will cast ballots for local leadership, while voters
in the 6th Worcester District will hold a special election to replace former Representative Peter Durant, who has moved to the Senate.
Polls are open across the state from 7 am to 8 pm.
Mail-in ballots must be received by the closure of the polls, or these may be placed in special drop boxes or handed to municipal election clerks.
