The father of a man wanted in last week's shooting incident has been arrested. Forty-five-year-old Dana Dudley of Chicopee was taken into custody Tuesday and is identified as one of the people who forced their way into Springfield High School of Science and Technology.
Dudley's son, 20-year-old Chantz Dudley is wanted for allegedly assaulting a student and firing a shot through a window inside the building.
The elder Dudley is charged with carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds, that being a knife, and armed breaking and entering.
Chantz Dudley remains at large and faces assault and battery, weapons, and malicious destruction counts.
A juvenile female who accompanied the two men is also being sought.
