DeSantis: Illegal Haitian Immigrants Could Be Sent To Martha's Vineyard

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is sending humanitarian flights into Haiti to rescue state residents and to bring them home free of charge.

He says all residents have to do is show proper ID and they will come home.

But the Governor is threatening to send illegal Haitian immigrants who might be crossing the southern border, not to do it because they could find their way onto a flight to Martha's Vineyard.

The Florida Governor garnered headlines when he did the same thing to those coming across the border last year.

Meantime, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley is outraged by the Governor's threat to send Haitian migrants to Martha's Vineyard.

Pressley says the comments are not a surprise coming from a failed presidential candidate seeking to stay relevant.

The Democrat from Boston says families fleeing violence in Haiti should be met with compassion. She says they should not be used as pawns in the cruel games of Republicans.
