Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno held a meeting Wednesday with MGM Resorts International CEO/President Bill Hornbuckle.
The meeting comes in the wake of reports that MGM Springfield might be up for sale.
In a statement, Mayor Sarno emphasized the Host Community Agreement, and that the city would receive all funds owed to that effect.
Reports noted that MGM could be selling the Springfield location, plus one in Ohio.
