Emergency crews rescued an injured hiker in Monson on Sunday.
Local fire officials say the department and additional resources were called to Peaked Mountain to assist the victim just before 2 pm.
The unnamed hiker had fallen from a ledge and suffered several broken bones.
The individual was carried down from the summer and then taken by LifeFlight helicopter to an area hospital.
Their name and condition were not released.
