Jaylen Brown led the C's with 32 points and Derrick White nailed seven three-pointers to finish with 25.
Jayson Tatum recorded a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Payton Pritchard sunk 16 off the bench.
Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 33 points for the Cavs.
Evan Mobley tallied his own double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds as Cleveland hopes to knot up the best-of-seven series at one game apiece on Thursday at TD Garden.
