A large rally was held at UMass-Amherst to protest the arrests of around 130 people on campus Tuesday and early yesterday.

Around 250 people attended yesterday's protest rally, claiming school officials ordered riot police to campus while negotiations with students were ongoing.

The students say UMass is ignoring a genocide, and that the arrests were morally reprehensible.

Last night, the university student government issued a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Javier Reyes.

As for the students who were arraigned yesterday, they all received 40 dollar bails.
