A 24-year-old Ludlow man is under arrest without incident on multiple charges after he was found sleeping in his vehicle at Szot Park past closing time.
Officers say they approached a man later identified as Matthew Swenor sleeping in the driver's seat of a vehicle in the parking lot at about 10:30 p.m. on May 13th.
Police woke the man, telling him all parks in Chicopee close at dusk. Police took a firearm found in a cross-body bag into evidence.
Swenor is charged with trespassing, carrying a firearm and carrying a loaded firearm, both with LTC, as well as possession of ammunition without an FID.
