A man is dead after a shooting in Springfield late Tuesday.
Officers were called to Fort Pleasant Avenue at about 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found a man with gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Baystate Medical Center where he later died.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Springfield homicide unit.
No other information was released.
