One person was found dead in a Chicopee home on Sunday evening. Chicopee Police, the Fire Department and State Police responded to the home on Farmington Street after a call for a disturbance at around 6:00 p.m.
Police learned someone in the home may have been armed, so the STOP Team and Crisis Negotiation were called.
Officers tried to contact the resident but got no response, so they entered the building and found the person dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
