Hazy skies have been blamed on Canadian wildfires over the past couple summers in parts of the U.S.
But, over the weekend, the hazy skies as far north as Nebraska and Iowa, east to Connecticut and Massachusetts is coming from Southern U.S. and Mexico wildfires.
In Midwestern states, the smoke plume is high in the sky and causing hazy horizons.
In southern states into New England the smoke is affecting air quality.
