The name of Lewis Lent has re-emerged in the news.

He is the man serving life in prison for the killing of two children back in the 199o’s.

Investigators were in Lanesborough yesterday looking for more children who may have been the victims of Lent.

Officials say no new evidence was recovered.

Police say they were searching a property in the Sumner Street area looking for evidence.

Lent was 45 when he was convicted of the deaths of then 12-year-old Jimmy Bernardo of Pittsfield and 12-year-old Sara Ann Wood of Frankfurt, New York.

He also is the confessed killer of James Lusher of Westfield. Lent is nearly 75 years old now.
