Western Mass Dem Convention Delegates United Behind VP

Western Massachusetts delegates headed to the Democratic National Convention next month are putting their faith in Kamala Harris.

Easthampton Mayor Nicole LaChapelle sayd she is confident in Harris and hopes the party rallies behind her by the end of the DNC.

Fellow delegate Candy Glazer said she is "very energized" by the new campaign, and believes the Vice President will be an outstanding candidate.

Congressman Richard Neal who is also a so-called "super delegate" says he has known the VP for some time and she has a good track record as a prosecutor and as Vice President.

Senator Ed Markey says the party will reunite behind Harris.

The Democratic National Convention will run from August 19th to the 22nd.
