Around 900 hotel workers in Boston went on strike yesterday to call for better wages and working conditions.
The strike was called by the UNITE HERE Local 26 at hotels branded by Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt.
The temporary strikes were called at hotels from those chains around the country where contracts are ending this year.
The workers are expected to remain off the job until 11 p.m. tomorrow.
