A state lawmaker is telling New England Patriots players to stop complaining about the state's millionaire's tax.

Cambridge state Representative Michael Connolly says the actual impact on the state's four percent tax on incomes over a million-dollars on NFL players is much less.

Connolly says players only pay state taxes based on the actual locations of the games they play.

In addition, players who earn over 17-million-dollars a year on other teams have to pay the state millionaire's tax when they play in Foxborough.
